The preliminary numbers are in and the 50s Summer Nights was a huge success.  We already knew that it was great fun and a chance to show the community that Rotary can rally to support those in need like Kendra Kanagaard but now we know that it was a financial success as well.  We raised a total of over $46,000. Of course, an amazing event like this had expenses and the event was unique in that the proceeds funded several different things; our Interact Clubs at the Middle School and High School, Friends of Kendra Kanagaard and Scotts Valley Rotary community and international service projects.  The preliminary numbers indicate that we raised $185 for the Middle School Interact Club, $854 for the High School Interact Club and at least $17,000 for Kendra (because some people said they would send donation that we have not received).  The balance, after we pay expenses, will fund our community and international projects.  This is an amazing financial success.  Way to go Rotarians!
