Scotts Valley Rotary Club was awarded the Presidential Citation with distinction for the 2010/11 year.  Assistant Governor Charlene MacIntyre presented the award to the Club at last Monday's Debunking Celebration.  This award comes from the President of Rotary International and is based on how well the Club did in the five Avenues of Service, Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service, and New Generations.  Our Club earned 180 out of a potential 200 points that earned us the Citation with Distinction.  This award was possible based on the amazing work by Club Members.  This year we started a new Interact Club, hosted an exchange student, was the lead club on an international project, implemented Club Runner, began doing weekly bulletins, recruited new members, had vocational visits to local business, made a major donation to the new library and much, much more.  Once again, Scotts Valley Rocks!
