On Monday, Robert L Rible, will tell us about theTaxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP).  TAP is an advisory panel charged with providing direct taxpayer input to the IRS.  Panel members (about 100 throughout the country) provide a taxpayer perspective on critical tax administration issues and help identify grass roots tax issues.  TAP listens to taxpayers, identifies issues, and makes suggestions for improving IRS service to the public.  It does not consider legislative issues.  It works in conjunction with the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate of the IRS (which helps taxpayers when they cannot get satisfaction through normal administrative channels of the IRS). For more information, or to submit your suggestions, go to Improve IRS.
