We had a very special day with the Interact Club at Scotts Valley Middle School.
For a community service project the kids decided they wanted to help Flynn Post. For those who don't know, Flynn and his wife Kelly own the store, Cali Style here in Scotts Valley. Flynn is currently fighting a battle with cancer. Kelly and Flynn are also the proud new parents of a beautiful baby girl named Leah Grace Post.
We invited Flynn to today's Interact meeting and told him that the kids did something special for him and wanted to meet him in person. All on their own, our Interacters sold raffle tickets and were able to raise over $800. So today they presented Flynn with the check. It was quite a beautiful emotional moment. You could really feel the love in the room. Flynn was so moved that he went around the room and gave each and every kid a hug (I wish we could show all of the pictures but we can't because they are minors). It was such an inspiring moment, between the kids and their heartfelt gesture and Flynn with his positive attitude, it was hard to hold back the tears.
We are so proud of our Interacters and so inspired by Flynn's courageous attitude.

Thank you Flynn for coming to visit and kudos to our Scotts Valley Middle School Interact Club.
