Tina S. Friend was our speaker at the last meeting. She took the reigns of City Manager of Scotts Valley this last July. She spoke of the City’s Projects and Initiatives; the tight financial situation and measures to curb expenditures and increase revenues. Thank you Tina!
Prior to that she worked for 14 years for Santa Cruz as Assistant City Manager., from 2010. She brings a wealth of leadership skills to her new role. She graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law; Magna Cum Laude 1995-1999.
Tina lives in Aptos with her husband Zack Friend, Santa Cruz Second District Supervisor, and son. Tina is one of our first Associate members under the Corporate Membership category.
