On Sunday, December 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Scotts Valley Police Officers will be bagging groceries at the Scotts Valley Market (14 Victor Sq, Scotts Valley) and seeking donations for Special Olympics.  Scotts Valley Police are supporters of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics.

In Santa Cruz County there are more than one hundred Special Olympic athletes involved in fourteen different sports including alpine skiing, basketball, bowling, softball, snow boarding, swimming and  track and field events.  It is our goal to ensure there is adequate funding to support all the Santa Cruz County athletes for their  participation in Special Olympics, both locally and at traveling competitions such as Summer and Winter Games.

Come shop at the Scotts Valley Market where there will be great deals, good food, great baggers and other specials to include:

- Reserve Officers will be on site providing a free Child Print ID kit.  The kit creates a confidential record of their child’s personal and medical information, to keep at home for use in an emergency.  Bring you kids!

-Enter to win a bicycle and/or $100.00 gift card.
