Friendship Exchange BBQ a huge success

Scotts Valley Rotarians treated our visitors from India to a Memorial Day Barbeque complete with veggie burgers for our vegetarian guests.  Over 30 people attended the barbeque including two potential members for the Scotts Valley Rotary.  Rotarians from several different clubs including two from India and one from the Ukraine.It was great getting to know our new friends better and, of course, we did the traditional exchanging of flags.

Friendship Exchange is a Rotary Program where local Rotarians host visiting Rotarians in their homes and show them the local sights.   It is a chance to get to know Rotarians from other countries.   Georgie & Andy Hildebrand hosted the group leader, Dhiran Datta.  Patrizia Materassi & Kim Schultz hosted Sangeeta Jain, Alan & Margaret Dow hosted Alpana Mishra and Bill & Cindy Schuette hosted Nanditta Chibber.  Also, Rotarian Igor from the Ukraine was in the area and joined the party.
