Festival of the Book appreciation - I would like to thank all the Rotarians and Library volunteers who fed 700 kids-book readers at the Festival of the Book on July 26! The volunteers included: Ben Hicks, President Tony Giannotti, Rosanna Herrera from Brunos Barbecue, Laureen Yungmeyer from State Farm, Kim Shultz, SV School District Board member, Steve Solberg, James Hernandes, and Ashlyn and Cliff Bodamer, Monique of Ben Lomond, Maile McGreen-Frede, Ashlin Adams, Holly and Laura Whaley, the Santa Cruz Libraries organizer.

I like to give a special thanks to Marc Winquist, Ledyards Santa Cruz-performance food services, and Rosanna Herrera for they were fundamental in the recent Festival of the Book event. Marc started the order/the ball rolling, staff at the Ledyards Foods provided at-cost discount even though Steve Rebottaro and Cheryl were in vacation, and Rosanna of Bruno's brought her big grill and together with Laureen grilled all the hot dogs! I tried a hot dog- It was the best hotdog I ever ate! You all rock! 😊👏👏👏 Patrizia
