We really miss our friends in Scotts Valley and especially our Rotary family. Tom & I have settled into our vacation home and have been enjoying Yosemite & the environment. I have been attending the Groveland Rotary meetings and even worked their Art & Jazz event last Saturday. It is a small but friendly club (what Rotary club isn't friendly??) However, they only have 2 women and only a few under 55!

Tom and I did buy a house in San Diego in the Rancho Bernardo community. We expect escrow to close the first week of July and then we will spend the rest of the summer remodeling the property. We hope to but bamboo floors throughout and remodel the bathrooms and kitchen. Brett & Jessica agreed to supervise the renovations in our absence. I plan to maintain my membership in Scotts Valley until we settle in San Diego (probably in the fall).

We would like to invite any club member (and family) to visit us this summer. Yosemite is spectacular & there's lots to do. Joan Winquist is coming next Monday to spend a week of fun and frolic with me. I can hardly wait.
